The Periodic Table of Angels
Everything in nature is part of a single continuous electro-magnetic spectrum from angels all the way down to elements. The law of periodicity accounts for patterns and regularity throughout. The Periodic Table of Angels is a shorthand way of notating this.
There are many ‘periodic tables.’ There are periodic tables of Pacman, city planning, movies, Presidents, woods, and of course, the elements.
In 1869, the first comprehensive periodic table of Elements was published by Dimitri Mendeleev. He was demonstrating that all the elements behaved within certain patterns. The groupings held information about atomic weight, electron configurations and chemical properties. At the time Mendeleev knew there were yet undiscovered elements. Of course, subsequent investigators have filled in the gaps. The original table had some 92 elements, and the modern tables depict 118 elements. The table is presented in the form of rows and columns, and grouped via Groups, Periods and Blocks. Thus, the attempt is to show the relationship of the elements in the physical world, one to another.
The periodic table of Angels presents, in the same manner a table of Angels presented in the same manner of periodic table of Elements. However, the basis of Groups, Periods and Blocks become Series Clusters and Heavens.
The fundamental basis of the presentation is to show vibratory relationships along with relative permanence of the angel, and ultimately the common function of the Angel and its Related groups.
Because we did the experiments with Chapter 14, by producing the beginnings of invocations of the Wardens of the Seven Celestial Halls, we can have a small footing while looking at this periodic table of Angels.
The nature of Angels is primarily functional. They are the Cosmic Maintainers. As we become different, we might be able to see those functions, and we are thus attracted to those groupings of Angels.

Chapter Summary
In this final chapter of The Hidden Work E.J. Gold presents to us a map of our own Essential Self and how it corresponds to and is a reflection of the Essential Self of the Absolute.
In so doing E.J. is precisely describing the means by which we might accomplish Prayer Absolute and perform the Hidden Work for our own evolutionary transformation into beings of a higher gradation of Being and Reason.

Chapter 15 presumes that we have been able to shift the center of our gravity from the dominant electrical, organic, material field of the human biological machine and its’ tyrannical historical personality to the more subtle vibratory sensation of our Essential Self.
This is what enables us to begin the penetration of the Periodic Table of Angels utilizing the principle of resonance.
“The human biological machine is a microcosmic duplicate of the macrocosmic Body-Absolute. Man and the Absolute are identical, which is why man is capable of Prayer Absolute; but they are not exactly identical and, because they are not exactly identical, the human biological machine can assume the posture of angels and archangels and, most importantly, can assume the form of the First Adam, which is neither male nor female, and is the First Great Descending Posture of the Absolute.” Page 93
The Essential Self and Presence of the Absolute penetrates the whole of the Creation – serving as the Life Force which animates, nourishes and maintains the whole of the Universe on every level. The Periodic Table of Angels is a means by which the fragmenting of the Absolute’s Essential Presence can be annotated and used for our own benefit.
“The presence of the Endless Absolute, or if you prefer, God, cannot be measured scientifically, and just as the presence of the Absolute is diffused throughout the Creation, the presence of our personal presence is diffused throughout the human biological machine. Is it any wonder our presences identify so strongly with the sleep and activities of the machine?” Page 106
Our self-initiated transformational efforts are directed towards the development of the Presence and Will of Attention of our own Essential Self as a unified, independent and self-initiating Force capable of all around self-perfecting.
“We can visit any exalted dimensions if we know the principle of Resonance and have the will to awaken the machine and to produce the corresponding emotional, mental and physical postures of higher dimensions. And so it is that the biological machine is referred to as the Temple of the Absolute.” Page 109

“During the Nineteenth Century, Mendeleev arranged the elements in an order which showed regular repeating patterns in their behavior and properties. This arrangement forms the basis for the Periodic Table of Angels which organizes them according to their frequencies in Hertz.
“In chemistry, periodicity occurs on the basis of atomic number. In angelology periodicity occurs on the basis of frequency. The frequency determines where each angel appears on the scale.” Page 161
We learn to identify our Essential Self as a vibratory sensation. Because we have succeeded in liberating the electrical field of the Essential Self from the human biological machine we can begin to understand that angels also have their own vibratory frequency.
“The spectrum produced by the fragmenting of a single tonic – the Absolute – is unbroken from the densest matter to the most rapidly vibrating energy, from the most stable point of matter to the highest point of excitation of energy. When one goes up and down the spectrum, the universe seems to be made of different material, but it never changes. Only our perceptions of it do. Ultimately, the position of an individual in Creation depends on the scale to which it naturally gravitates.” Page 165
The growth and development of our Essential Self should serve as an “elevator” which enables us to pass from the lower and greater density of the organic, material world into the ethereal and subtle world of angelic presences.
“We can also give names to specific segments of the electro-magnetic spectrum. The segment which interests us is the segment we call angels. Angels are a specific frequency. There is a tuning scale for each angel, for each angelic reality. Through the use of tuning devices we can access those frequency values. It is these frequencies which correspond to the atomic numbers on the periodic table of elements. If we want to access angels all we need to know is how to access their particular frequencies.” Page 167
What we need to know is how to adjust the frequency of our own essential self in order to resonate with an angelic frequency … even though we don’t – at this time – have the tools or experience with which to achieve this.
“Periodicity is the natural result of the fragmentation of primal energy into sound and light, forms of energy and matter progressively slower, less energetic and more dense. Through the influence of resonance, sound in a lower harmonic can be used to produce an effect in the corresponding higher tonic. It is possible to excite and resonate a higher tonic with a lower harmonic, to energize and activate the tonic from the harmonic, to manipulate the harmonic thereby discovering the vibration that activates the tonic.” Page 168
The principle of resonance is – perhaps – the most important tool available to us to achieve angelic training … if only we knew not how to use it, but how to apply it.
“The law of octaves is the result of this fragmentation from the level of the Solar-Absolute through the entire spectrum of Creation including the lowest forms of matter. Fragmentation of unity leads to multiplicity; the original tonic becomes composite harmonics. We cannot define the primary, nor can we see any trace of it other than in the periodicity which ensues. Consequently, the periodic unity amongst the multiplicity of phenomena is the reflection of a unified whole fragmenting its composite parts and taking many forms as it descends from the primary.
“By the time we encounter atomic matter many cosmic events have occurred that we cannot observe. This is the unmanifested side of Creation. The pre-Creation spectrum antecedent to the observable Creation is understandably not visible today, nor are angels who are only situated far beyond the ultra-violet segment of the spectrum.” Page 168 – 169
This is the whole of Chapter 15 in a “nutshell”. Angels represent the fracturing and fragmenting of the Primal Tonic of the Absolute as it begins its’ descent towards the formation of the Creation.
Don Juan describes these as “inorganic beings”, that is, intelligent entities without a gross material form.
“In the last analysis, the Periodic Table of Angels is the trace, the objective record, of the descent of consciousness into matter, the spiraling movement towards stasis and crystallization.” Page 169
